Concept Statement
I find the shadows to be very calming and beautiful. Shadows tend to abstract the form and create a flat representation of the object. Shadows are simple yet express the depth that we experience in a three-dimensional world. I want to show the beauty in the abstraction of light shining on an object and creating form through shadows. I want to show the very basis of every artistic expression, light, and shadow and show how many different ways shadows can explain the figure or the object.
